“Martin: The Reunion” trailer officially revealed, ahead of June 16 air date, on BET+ [VIDEO]

“Martin: The Reunion” trailer released ahead of June 16 air date

Back in February, it was revealed that a “Martin” reunion would finally happen, 25 years after the show concluded, after five seasons. Martin originally aired back in 1992. Many of the Martin cast members were pictured on set, filming the union. However, one that was unfortunately missing, was Thomas Mikal Ford, who played the role of Tommy. Ford passed away, back in 2016.

Martin Lawrence, Tisha Campbell, Tichina Arnold, and Carl Anthony Payne II were all on set during the filming of the reunion, as fans instantly became ecstatic. But, in February though, a release date wasn’t made official.

However, the official Martin 30-year anniversary reunion trailer, is here. The reunion special will be coming to the BET+ streaming platform, on June 16. This trailer features the cast members enjoying each other’s company while on set, as the anticipation grows, to all get together, 30 years after Martin first aired.

“The cast will look back on the show’s most hilarious moments, revisit the iconic characters Martin made famous and pay an emotional tribute to the late, great Tommy Ford,” said a BET+, in a statement. “Complete with musical performances and drop-ins by celebrity super fans, Martin: The Reunion brings back the wazzup wazzup wazzup passion fans have been waiting for.”
