Power Book II Ghost Season 2 Episode 9 Preview

Last week’s episode of “Power Book II: Ghost” ended with Zeke (Daniel Bellomy) walking in on a dead Carrie Milgram (Melanie Liburd). Presumably, Monet (Mary J. Blige) is the reason for this. She was the last person seen, onscreen, to see Milgram. Also, Monet’s parting words were that Zeke would never come back to her if she (Milgram) was still in the picture. Zeke went to Milgram’s, after Diana (LaToya Tonoedo) revealed he’s Monet’s son, not nephew.

Diana spilled everybody’s tea, after Monet revealed Diana slept with Tariq (Michael Rainey, Jr.). So, she exposed Cane (Woody McClain) for stealing their work, Dru (Lovell Adams-Gray) for still seeing Everett (Bradley Gibson), and Monet for being Zeke’s mother. Diana went as far as revealing Zeke’s father’s name starts with D. Exposing all of this in front of Lorenzo (Berto Colon), he kicked Monet out. While Monet knows Dante (Daniel Sunjata), she has no idea he’s Mecca the connect.

Tariq enters episode nine with a target on his back, as Rashad Tate (Larenz Tate) is the next witness called in his trial. Tate ordered Tariq to dig up dirt on Sweeney, which Brayden (Gianni Paolo) has, but won’t turn over. This week, they argue about this. While fans ship Tariq and Effie (Alix Lapri), he has to get free, first. Plus, there is the aftermath they all face, after the heist of Mecca’s work, and his ring.
