Quavo releases new “Greatness” single

Quavo is back with another new solo single, after putting out his “Without You” single, last month. That record was dedicated to his late newphew and fellow Migos member, Takeoff. This month, at the Grammys, Quavo went on to perform that record with Maverick City. Takeoff was initially shot and killed outside of a Houston bowling alley in November, after an argument over a dice game ensued, nearby.

This incident came less than a month after Quavo and Takeoff released their joint album, “Only Built For Infinity Links” That project contained 18 new songs, including singles such as “Hotel Lobby” and “US Vs Them,” featuring Gucci Mane. Quavo and Migos also collaborated with NBA Youngboy, Young Thug, Gunna, Summer Walker, and Mustard. The album went on to debut at number seven in the US, on the Billboard 200 chart. Quavo and Takeoff had began releasing solo music that May, as Hotel Lobby was their first single as a duo.

However, Quavo has returned with another single. This is “Greatness,” as he pays homage to the success of Migos as a group, as well as Takeoff.
