Steph Curry hits game-winning shot vs Rockets
The way the Golden State Warriors have played these last ten games are how people expected them to be this season. Definitely a playoff team, but not likely to be a championship contender. However, the Warriors came out of the gate strong. Steph Curry played like an MVP, last season, and he’s followed that up with more MVP-level play.
Lately, the Warriors have struggled, with Draymond Green out due to injuries. Finally, the Warriors got Klay Thompson back, but the Warriors aren’t winning. During their last game, the Warriors lost a winnable home game to the Indiana Pacers, a team currently tanking. Tonight, they played the Houston Rockets, a team in the same position as the Pacers.
Coming into tonight’s game, the Warriors needed a win. To think, the Rockets would be an easy win is to ignore the seven game winning streak they had, all while racing to the bottom of the standings. The Warriors definitely needed the win, as it’s been rough on them lately. Their leader, Steph, made sure they got one.
Tonight, Steph Curry hit the step-back jumper to win the game.
