Stephen Curry gets standing ovation from his daughters

Stephen Curry has played like a man on a mission, over the past two seasons. Last night, Steph Curry saw it all come together. The Golden State Warriors eliminated the Dallas Mavericks in Game 5 of the Western Conference Finals. Finally, the Warriors return to the NBA Finals for the first time in three years. Since the Warriors have been away, the Lakers and Suns have represented the West in the NBA Finals.

Stephen Curry watched his longtime rival, LeBron James, lead the Lakers to the 2020 title. Curry got the Warriors into the postseason, in 2020. However, Steph Curry could not get the Warriors past the Lakers or Grizzlies to make the playoffs. As a result, Steph Curry went home early, and watched the Phoenix Suns lose the title to the Milwaukee Bucks.

Stephen Curry came into this season and played like an MVP for half of the season. During that half, the Warriors were tied with the Suns for the NBA’s best record. Injuries happened and the Warriors fell to the West’s third seed. In the playoffs, the Warriors beat the Nuggets, Grizzlies, and Dallas Mavericks. As Curry began his takeover of Game 5, his daughters Riley and Ryan were shocked.
