Steve Kerr curses at the ref and gets a tech
Last night, the Golden State Warriors’ win streak ended, as they got blown out by the Mavericks, in Dallas. Luka Doncic’s Mavs had a reason to play a strong game, as Dirk Nowitzki returned for his jersey retirement ceremony. Hilariously, Jason Kidd, the current Mavericks coach, asked Dirk if he wanted to return on a 10-day contract.
During the same game, Stephen Curry got injured, and he already wasn’t having the best game. Tonight, visiting the New Orleans Pelicans, the Warriors are without both Curry and Draymond Green. The popular team is still holding their own against New Orleans. All season, the Pelicans have been without their franchise player, Zion Williamson.
Still, the Pelicans find themselves in a close game against the Warriors, who hold the NBA’s best record. This isn’t good enough for Steve Kerr, who believes his team should be playing much better. Despite missing two of his best players, Kerr’s expectations are high for his team. Kerr saw one of the plays and felt a travel should have been called against the Pelicans. When it wasn’t, Steve flipped out.
