Tems and Burna Boy perform at NBA All-Star Game in Utah

The NBA All-Star Game is currently taking place in Salt Lake City Utah, as the halftime show also just concluded. This included an amazing Afrobeats theme at Vivint Arena, as Nigerian natives Burna Boy and Tems headlined the performance.

Fans watching at home as well as Salt Lake City were treated to an amazing show, as Burna opened things up. As a result, he and Tems both went on to perform some of their biggest hits. Fellow Nigerian native Rema also joined in on the performance.

Tems is fresh off of winning her first Grammy, this month. This was for her appearance on Future’s chart-topping “Wait For U” single, which also featured Drake. That was the most streamed song on Apple Music in 2022, and was the only song released that year to reach 4x platinum eligibility, in the US.

Last summer, Burna also released his new “Love, Damini” album. 19 songs were available, including collaborations with Popcaan. J Balvin, Ed Sheeran, Kehlani, and more. It debuted at number 14 on the Billboard 200 chart, and became the highest-charting Nigerian album of all-time, in the US.
