Trae Young breaks Taj Gibson’s ankles to end F Trae Young chants

Entering this season, the Atlanta Hawks had high expectations. Last season, Trae Young led the Hawks to their first playoff appearance in four years. The Hawks came into the playoffs and immediately made major noise. In the playoffs, they defeated the New York Knicks, and upset the top seed Philadelphia 76ers, to make the Eastern Conference Finals. Their Cinderella run ended, as Giannis’ Milwaukee Bucks went to the Finals to win the championship.

Trae Young has played well, this season, but the Atlanta Hawks have struggled. Expected to be contenders in the East, the Hawks are on the outside looking in. A lock for the play-in, the Hawks have watched while the Heat, Bucks, Sixers, Bulls, Celtics, and Cavs have had the top six records. For the Hawks, they also have to contend with the Raptors, Nets, and Hornets in the play-in. But, if they play like they did last night, the Hawks won’t have much trouble.

En route to dropping 45 points against the Knicks, Trae Young dealt with a lot. The fans already don’t like him, so Trae Young had to deal with boos. As the game was coming to an end, Trae Young had to listen to “F Trae Young” chants. Trae Young did what any great NBA player would do. He crossed Taj Young up and broke his ankles. That was enough to silence the crowd, as Trae Young led the Hawks to the win, breaking the hearts of the Knicks’ fans.
