Yung Miami says new City Girls album is coming in early 2023
The City Girls continue to be one of the most popular duos in hip-hop. They soared to stardom in 2018, when signing to Quality Control Music, and it was only up from there. The Miami group’s “Period” mixtape in May of that year, really established their breakout success.
City Girls’ last studio album came in June 2020, with “City On Lock.” At the time, that went on to debut at number 29 in the US. That project was led by hits such as “Jobs” and “P*ssy Talk” featuring Doja Cat. 2021 also saw City Girls have another huge single, in “Twerkulator.”
However, in 2023, City Girls continue to produce hot records. They’ve put out singles such as “Top Notch” with Fivio Foreign and “Good Love” with Usher. Now, fans are officially receiving an update, regarding City Girls’ upcoming third studio album.
On Friday night, Yung Miami was on Instagram Live. There, she said herself and JT are aiming to put this project out, sometime in the top of 2023.
