Currently, Lee Daniels is the king of Hollywood, as his work has helped put FOX back on the map. The success of “Empire,” the hip hop-inspired soap starring Terrence Howard and Taraji P. Henson opened the door for “Rosewood” starring Morris Chestnut. Now, there is “Star.”

Lee Daniels will own Wednesdays on FOX, as “Star” begins airing on January 4. Then, “Empire” returns in the spring and he has other film projects coming up. Among them, according to online gossip, is a biopic with TV One.

Among the deaths, as of late, was Bobbi Kristina Brown, the daughter of the late Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown. According to a rumor circulating on Lipstick Alley, there will be a biopic of her on TV One. They are claiming a casting from Lee Daniels is floating around online.
