Currently, Maino is in the midst of a strong promo run and he recently made his return to the spotlight. All of this is in anticipation for King of Brooklyn 2, his second official release of the year. Early this year, Maino got things started off with the release of King of Brooklyn and now he is starting 2015 off right.
Maino has had hits in the past, but he found most of his success come on an independent level. Now, Maino is going retail with his latest project and it will also be an independent release. When Maino talked to Hot 97, he explained his independent deal and how he puts his music out.
Recently, Maino paid a visit to Global Grind and he discussed his new work. But, Maino is also in the headlines over some controversy with Mellanie Monroe, a popular porn star. He talked about this and he also discussed his happy state, as King of Brooklyn 2 is due to be released soon.
