Until the summer, Meek Mill was keeping a low profile. However, he was thrust into the spotlight by Remy Ma, on “Shether,” when she brought his name up. Targeting Nicki Minaj, Remy Ma brought Meek’s name up, among other people.
Virtually ignoring that, Meek Mill offered “Whatever U Need,” featuring both Chris Brown and Ty Dolla $ign. Had it not been for huge records from DJ Khaled, Future, Kendrick Lamar, and French Montana, it would be the summer anthem. But, Meek is number one on iTunes.
Meek Mill stopped by Hot 97, talking to Ebro and Laura Stylez. Once again, Peter Rosenberg was missing, but Meek Mill told it all. He spoke on “Shether,” a conversation with Drake, saying he was out of control, addressing the Safaree situation, and also, of course, discussing Nicki Minaj.
