Current Washington Commanders owner Dan Snyder is being forced out of his position, as he’s exploring the sale of the team. This comes after various reports of workplace misconduct, over the years. Snyder announced this week that he’s hiring a major bank, to explore the sale of the Commanders

However, there are already names being linked to showing interest in becoming the new owners of the Commanders, once they’re officially on the market. According to TMZ, two massive names who are interested, are Jay Z and Jeff Bezos. Jay’s net worth is at $1.3 billion, while Bezos is at a whopping $114 billion. As a result, Jay has also had various recent partnerships with the NFL.

Jay has been interested in becoming a pro sports owner for a while now, as he was looking into the Denver Broncos, a year ago. Bezos is also very well connected in the Washington, D.C. market, as he’s the owner of the Washington Post. He is also the head of Amazon.

Jay has tapped into various business ventures, in his career. He’s the head of his Roc Nation brand, has his own sports agency tied to it, and succeeded with his D’Ussé liquor.
