LSU’s Flau’jae Johnson says she has a Lil Wayne collaboration on the way

LSU’s Flau’jae Johnson says Lil Wayne collaboration is coming

On Sunday afternoon, LSU women’s basketball captured its first national championship win. This came after their dominant 102-85 win over Caitlin Clark and Iowa. The 102 points scored by the Tigers was also the second most points scored in a title game, in men’s and women’s D-1 basketball history, next to the 1990 UNLV men’s basketball team.

One of the key pieces of LSU’s women’s basketball team this season has been Flau’jae Johnson. She scored 10 points in Sunday’s national championship game, and is also a known rapper. Flau’jae is even signed to Jay Z’s Roc Nation record label. Following LSU’s win, she went on to perform her “Big 4” single, at the Westin Hotel that LSU was staying at.

As a result, Flau’jae has revealed that she has even more big collaborations coming. On Twitter, she said that her favorite producers want to work with her now, and even has a Lil Wayne feature coming. Wayne also spoke on this during his ESPN appearance, during LSU’s previous Final Four game Vs Virginia Tech. Wayne is native of New Orleans, so the LSU connection to nearby Baton Rouge is perfect for all sides.
