Sports enthusiasts may know Walun better as Wali Lundy. Before he jumped into the rap game, Wali Lundy was best-known for his football career. A popular football player from the University of Virginia, Wali Lundy set numerous records for his touch downs. As destiny would have it, Lundy would make it to the NFL.
Drafted by the Houston Texans in 2006, Wali Lundy would remain with the team for one year. Upon being released from the Texans, Lundy had more time to focus on his music career. The New Jersey native would launch Fresh Fuzion in 2010 with Jay Criss, his producer/partner.
Wali Lundy is known as Walun in the hip hop community. Each weekend, Phenomenal Radio selects one artist in their network for their Indie Spotlight. This weekend, these honors to to Walun, the NFL star turned hip hop artist. Rapping since he was ten years old, the former football star has traded in his cleats for the mic.
