Lizzo releases “Special” remix with SZA
On Wednesday, Lizzo announced that SZA would be appearing on the remix to her 2022 hit single, “Special.” That record would go on to officially be released on Thursday, as the two have been close for a while now. Lizzo also added that she’s been a fan of SZA since 2013, which was way before the fame.
However, the Special remix is now out, as SZA and Lizzo also went on to discuss the collaboration, on Instagram Live. SZA opens the remix with her own verse, as fans have since been praising this Special remix. The original Special record appeared on Lizzo’s “Special” album, which debuted at number two in the US, on the Billboard 200 chart.
SZA has also been on fire lately, as her “SOS” album spent seven straight weeks at number one. It is also on its way to returning to that top spot, this weekend.
