Lizzo announces that “Special” remix will feature SZA 

Lizzo had a major night at the Grammys last weekend, as she won the award for Record Of The Year. That was for her Billboard Hot 100 chart-topping “About Damn Time” single. That record also appeared on Lizzo’s “Special” album last summer, which was her first album since 2019, and debuted at number two in the US, on the Billboard 200 chart.

”Special” was also one of the other major singles on Lizzo’s latest album. On Wednesday, she also took to Instagram Live to reveal that a remix of it is on the way. This will be out on Friday, and will include a huge feature from her close friend and fellow Grammy winner, SZA.

Lizzo explained how big of a fan she’s been of SZA. She also added that she’s known SZA since 2013. As a result, this will also be their first collaboration together.

SZA is also currently still one of the biggest artists out. Her new sophomore album “SOS” recently spend seven straight weeks at number one, in the US. This week, it’s also expected to return to that position.
