50 Cent announces plans for three “BMF” spinoffs

50 Cent says “BMF” will receive three spinoffs

On Friday, season 2 of 50 Cent and STARZ’s hit series “BMF,” finally aired. Fans were filled with anticipation, as season 1 initially aired back in October 2021, and has since become one of the biggest series on television. BMF details the rise of Detroit’s biggest drug dealers in the 1980s-early 2000s, which were Demetrius “Big Meech” Flenory, Terry “Southwest T” Flenory, and their Black Family Crew. Demetrius “Lil Meech” Flenory plays the role of Big Meech.

50 has also announced that three BMF spinoffs are also in the works. This was revealed at the TCL Chinese Theater in Hollywood, according to Deadline. This also comes as 50 is working on a series based on the “8 Mile” film, with Eminem. 50 also previously launched various spinoffs of his hit series “Power.” BMF also received its own documentary on STARZ in October, which was “BMF: Blowing Money Fast.”

“They got some really, really smart executives coming in to help rebuild Starz in the right way. And it’s exciting for me,” 50 said. “You’ll get a chance to see three spinoff shows from ‘BMF.’ It’s ‘BMF’ immortal.”

Meanwhile, 50’s contract with STARZ ended at the end of 2022, as he went on to get with Luisd Media for a three-project partnership. Their first project will be an unscripted true crime series that is coming to Peacock, this year.
