A$AP Rocky pleads not guilty to A$AP Relli shooting
Earlier this week, A$AP Rocky was officially charged with two counts of assault with a semiautomatic firearm. This is in regards to an alleged shooting that Rocky was in, in November 2021. He is said to have shot at former A$AP Mob member, A$AP Relli, in Hollywood. Relli’s hand went on to be grazed, in this incident
Rocky was initially arrested for this crime, in April. That came after he landed in Los Angeles from Barbados, with Rihanna. Rocky went on to post $550,000 bond. At the time, his arrest was for assault with a deadly weapon.
This morning in Los Angeles, Rocky was officially arraigned in court, according to TMZ. There, Rocky entered a not guilty plea. Rocky’s attorney is Sara Caplan. His bond now is also $550,000, as the preliminary hearing will be held in November. A protective order is also in place, to prevent Rocky from contacting Relli.
Relli has since sued Rocky, for this shooting. He is also said to have been in intense therapy, as a result of the death threats that he’s been receiving. Relli reportedly recently stated how he’s glad that charges were filed, and how he was worried that nobody would believe his claims, due to how famous Rocky is. This also comes as Rocky welcomed a child with Rihanna, in May.
