On Monday, legendary baseball hall of famer Reggie Jackson hosted his annual Mr. October Celebrity Golf Classic, in Palm City, FL. This was also held in partnership with Travis Scott’s Cactus Jack Foundation.

Among those in attendance were Travis, 50 Cent, Derek Jeter, Ken Griffey Jr, Bun B, Scarface, and more. Jackson’s Mr. October Foundation was founded in 1997, as this event raised closed to $1 million. This is to improve educational opportunities for underserved youth.

“It is special to me to have some of the top guys in the world of sports here to help me move the ball forward in underserved communities using STEM education,” Jackson said, in a statement. “We do our best to select schools that will have success with our program to prepare our kids for the workforce that is to be in the years to come.”

Therefore, Travis added that he is passionate about providing educational access and opportunity to underserved communities. In February, he will also be joining Reggie at the Cactus Jack HBCU Classic, this month. Meanwhile, fans also anticipate that Travis’s “Utopia” album will finally arrive, this year.
