Travis Scott to sponsor Reggie Jackson’s charity golf event
Travis Scott’s Cactus Jack Foundation and Project H.E.A.L. intuitive have been doing some amazing gestures in local communities, and is now about to be involved in a major charitable event, with baseball legend Reggie Jackson. Travis will be sponsoring Jackson’s Mr. October Foundation Celebrity Golf Classic.
The Mr. October Foundation Celebrity Golf Classic will take place on January 30, at Palm City, FL. The event will be located at the Floridian National Golf Club. As a result, this will feature over 30+ hall of fame baseball legends, as well as various artists and entertainers.
Therefore, this event is being held in order to improve educational opportunities for underserved youth. The Mr. October Foundation was initially created back in 1997, 10 years after Jackson’s MLB career concluded. Travis will also be participating in this Golf Classic.
“I’m passionate about providing educational access and opportunity to underserved communities, which I’ve supported personally for years,” said Travis in a statement, regarding the upcoming event. “I’m excited to collaborate with the legendary Reggie Jackson on a mission that we both care deeply about and look forward to seeing him on the golf course later this month as well as at the Cactus Jack HBCU Classic in February.”
