City Girls’ JT says Doja Cat is both a rapper and pop artist
There has been an ongoing debate on social media over the past year, regarding Doja Cat. This is whether or not that she’s a rapper. This is due to Doja mostly seeing success with pop records. At the same time though, Doja has brought bars, to several songs.
Now, one rapper who is weighing in on Doja being a rapper or not, is JT of the City Girls. On Saturday, JT took to Twitter to say that Doja is a rapper. She did add that Doja’s pop songs are just more popular.
“That girl is a rapper just versatile & her pop songs more popular y’all gotta listen, what she doing not easy. But don’t mind me I’m on a flight listening [to] music… my opinion.”
A few days ago, JT and Yung Miami also released their second single of 2022, “Good Love.” This also included a huge feature from Usher, who’s also been trending heavily, online. This is due to Usher’s NPR Tiny Desk performance, which released a few days ago.
Doja is also recovering from tonsils surgery, as those got infected before the 2022 Billboard Music Awards. She canceled. her upcoming festival performances, as well as her performances on The Weeknd’s upcoming “After Hours Til Dawn” Tour.
