City Girls postpone upcoming July 29 release date, for new album [VIDEO]

City Girls postpone July 29 album release date

City Girls have been trending all year, for various reasons. Yung Miami continues to date Diddy, and JT is still very much with Lil Uzi Vert. The duo also has several hot singles out, which include “Top Notch” featuring Fivio Foreign, and “Good Love,” featuring Usher, which dropped earlier this month.

City Girls have also revealed that their third studio album is on the way. It was initially supposed to be released on July 29, but that date is getting postponed. Yung Miami revealed this news, in a new video posted to Instagram.

“The album was supposed to drop July 29, but it’s not dropping because we had some issues — not issues, but you know, when you dropping an album, you have to make sure everything is good.”

A July 29 release date would’ve been on the same as Beyoncé’s “Renaissance” album. Many believed that City Girls decided to postpone their album due to wanting to avoid competing with Beyoncé. JT took to Twitter to shut that speculation down though, as she said “Our album not finished!!!! TF…”

As of now, the title of City Girls’ album has yet to publicly revealed. A new release date isn’t out yet, either. Their previous project came back in June 2020, with their “City On Lock” album.
