DaBaby says his “Baby On Baby 2” projected first week sales aren’t bad, since he’s being blackballed

A week ago, DaBaby released his new “Baby On Baby 2” project. This served as a sequel to his breakout 2019 “Baby On Baby” mixtape. 14 new songs were included, as well as a feature from Anthony Hamilton.

However, DaBaby received a lot of criticism for his “Boogeyman” record though, as he mentioned Megan Thee Stallion. There, he claimed that he had sex with her multiple times, including the day before she publicly claimed that Tory Lanez allegedly shot her. The music video for Boogeyman also had a Megan lookalike, this week. As of now, Megan has still yet to publicly address what Baby claimed in this record, as well as the lookalike in the video.

Baby On Baby 2 is also reportedly set to sell 16,000 units, in its first week. Now, DaBaby is speaking out, as he said on Instagram, that this isn’t bad for an artist that is being blackballed.

Many believe the Charlotte rapper is actually being blackballed, as his recent concert in New Orleans was also postponed. This was reportedly due to low ticket sales. That event was also supposed to include NoCap and ShowTek.
