The impact DJ Symphony has had on hip hop over the years has been quite impressive, as he has proven to be much more than a DJ. DJ Symphony remains the official DJ for “the chef,” Raekwon, but he has established himself in his own right. With an international following, DJ Symphony remains one of hip hop’s most-popular figures.
Branching out, DJ Symphony launched his Radio Invasion, a station which is dedication to hip hop and R&B for 24 hours. Radio Invasion has become highly popular, as they are among the first to play new music from big names. Given the position Radio Invasion holds, DJ Symphony decided to launch “Independent Wednesdays.”
Now, independent artists can log onto RadioInvasion.com and upload their own music to the radio station. Upon uploading their music to the station, after approval, indepedent artists have the opportunity to have their music heard by major names. In addition to being showcased to the industry’s finest, independent artists also have the opportunity to gain media exposure.
