Doja Cat and SZA’s “Kiss Me More,” Wins Best Collaboration, at #VMAs

The 2021 VMAs are still underway, at the Barclays Center, in Brooklyn. The night has featured some great performances from Normani, Chloe Bailey, Justin Bieber, Olivia Rodrigo, and more. The award winners continue to roll in, and the Best Collaboration category has just been announced.

Doja Cat is the host of the VMAs, and just won in this category as well, as she has five total nominations. This is for her “Kiss Me More” single, featuring SZA, which released last spring. It peaked at number three on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, and went on to appear on Doja’s third studio album, “Planet Her,” this summer.

Kiss Me More was able to edge out this win, as other nominees included “WAP” by Cardi B ft. Megan Thee Stallion, “Mood” by 24kGoldn ft. Iann Dior, “Peaches” by Justin Bieber ft. Giveon and Daniel Caesar, “Laugh Now Cry Later” by Drake ft. Lil Durk, and “Prisoner” by Dua Lipa ft. Miley Cyrus. It is also currently certified gold, in the US.
