Doja Cat announces new “Attention” single
Doja Cat has recently been teasing the release of her upcoming fourth studio album. On Twitter, she revealed that there will be no pop records on this project, as she’d only be focusing on rap. This comes after even Doja admitted that she’s made “mid” and “corny” rap songs in the past. Even Hot 97 and Apple Music’s Ebro recently praised these rap songs that Doja has in the stash.
Meanwhile, Doja’s first single of 2023 is coming this week. This is “Attention,” which will be out on June 16. The pre=save link was initially made available on Monday, but was briefly taken down. However, Doja has now confirmed the artwork for Attention, as the 6/16 date is official.
Furthermore, there is still no official release date for Doja’s upcoming studio album. Many anticipate that it will be out at some point this year, as it would be her first album since June 2021’s “Planet Her.” At the time, that project was led by smash hit singles such as “Kiss Me More” featuring SZA, “Get Into It (Yuh),” “Need To Know,” and more.
