Drake postpones Young Money reunion after positive COVID test
This past weekend, Drake has been holding his October World Weekend concerts, in his hometown of Toronto. This featured stars such as Lil Baby and Chris Brown.
Monday was also supposed to be a huge night to end October World Weekend, with a Young Money reunion. This would’ve included Nicki Minaj and Lil Wayne. Now, Drake is postponing this event. This is due to him revealing in his Instagram stories, that he received a positive COVID-19 test.
“I am trusty devastated to say that I tested positive for covid and and the Young Money reunion show scheduled for tonight is being rescheduled to the SOONEST date possible. I will keep the city posted and share the new date whenever we have it locked. Until then I hope everyone stays safe and healthy and I love you all. I am so sorry for letting you down on your weekend together and the moment I test negative I will give you everything I got on stage. (Except covid)”
Drake has had a massive summer, as he he put out his surprise “Honestly, Nevermind” album, in June. That went on to be his seventh straight number one solo album. Every solo album of Drake’s career has hit that mark.
