“Euphoria” actor Angus Cloud’s cause of death ruled as overdose from fentanyl, cocaine, methamphetamine, and more

Angus Cloud passed away due to reported drug overdose

Back on July 31, “Euphoria” star Angus Cloud shockingly suddenly passed away. At the time, he passed at his family’s home in the Bay Area of California. Moreover, his mother’s 911 call claimed that Cloud suffered from a drug overdose. However, that hasn’t been fully confirmed. At the time, he was only 25-years-old.

Meanwhile, the official cause of Cloud’s death has now been revealed. According to TMZ, it is as a result of a drug overdose. These are relating to the drugs of fentanyl, cocaine, and methamphetamine. Furthermore, this was confirmed by the Alameda County Coroner.  The report added that Cloud suffered acute intoxication. This included a combination of drugs which had benzodiazepine added to it.

Prior to Cloud’s passing, he’d reportedly been having a tough time dealing with the passing of his father, which occurred in May, due to cancer. Cloud went on to attend the funeral in Ireland. Despite the actor supposedly going through suicidal thoughts, his mother denied this being the case.

Cloud was a major fan-favorite on social media, due to his role as Fezco, in Euphoria. The series first aired in 2019, as the second season most recently aired in the spring of 2022. However, with the ongoing writers strike and the passing of Cloud, many anticipate that a season three air date may get pushed back to 2025, as opposed to the initial 2024 plan.
