Last month, Fetty Wap was sentenced to six years in prison, in his federal drug trafficking case. He plead guilty to conspiracy to distribute 500 grams or more of cocaine. He and his crew were initially arrested in New York in 2021, prior to his Rolling Loud New York performance. Feds also claimed that he and his crew were selling cocaine out of USPS trucks.
Meanwhile, Fetty has also been ordered to undergo various guidelines, following his release from prison. According to TMZ, he will have to disclose all of financial records and yearly income tax returns to the U.S. Probation Department. Furthermore, he cannot open any new bank or financial accounts without approval from the feds, and submit everything he owns to search whenever there’s a “reasonable suspicion” of any violated terms. Fetty submitting a DNA sample and undergoing drug tests will also be required.
In 2022, Fetty gained another major record, which was “Sweet Yamz.” This past February, he also put out his “Tonight” record. However, Feds did use lyrics from his 2014 RIAA diamond-certified “Trap Queen” single, as well as Sweet Yamz, to make the case that he admitted to drug trafficking.
