Future says he’s now in “album mode,” after recent Grammys win

Future reveals that he’s in “album mode”

Future had a very solid night at the Grammys last weekend, as he took home the award for Best Melodic Rap Performance. That was for his chart-topping “Wait For U” single, featuring Drake and Tems. That record also quickly reached 4x platinum status in the US, as that was the only song released in 2022, to do so.

Wait For U initially appeared on Future’s ninth studio album, “I Never Liked You.” That went on to become his seventh straight number one album, and was also Grammy-nominated for Best Rap Album.

However, Future is already planning for another album to be on the way soon. On Tuesday night, he took to Twitter to reveal that he’s currently in “album mode.” This tweet immediately led fans to excitement, amid the myriad of his latest wins.

Therefore, it’s still unclear what the title of this project will be, or when it will officially be released. Future has been one of the most consistent artists in the industry for over 12 years now, so this upcoming release is a testament to his work ethic.
