Gangsta Boo’s funeral and celebration of life events are announced

A week ago, it was sadly announced that legendary Three 6 Mafia rapper Gangsta Boo, passed away, at the young age of 43. Her passing was discovered in her hometown of Memphis.

TMZ went on to report that Boo’s death may have been drug-related, as a result oft a possible fentanyl-laced substance. The night prior, she was at a concert in Memphis with her brother.  Later on in the night, Boo’s brother stated that she began to overdose. Her autopsy is still being conducted.

However, Boo’s funeral and celebration of life arraignments have also been completed. The celebration of life in Memphis will be held on January 13, which starts at 7PM. Her funeral will take place on January 14, from 12:30PM-1PM. That service will be held in Southhaven, Mississippi. These details were unveiled by legendary Memphis producer, Drumma Boy.

Boo released three solo studio albums, as a solo artist. Those were released in 1998, 2001 and 2003. With Three 6 Mafia, six studio albums were released, with the previous one coming in 2001. She was one of the biggest female rappers to come out of the south as well, as she’s recognized as a pioneer.
