There is often a discussion about the different forms of hip hop entertainment and exactly what is hip hop and what is not. Many have separated the near-identical forms by saying there is two art forms, one is rap and the other is hip hop. When hip hop was still fairly new, Ice T emerged as one of the biggest stars in the game.
Ice T has gone from the biggest gangsta rapper in the game to portraying a police officer on television. Things have definitely changed for Ice T and he has a number of projects in the works. At the top of this list is Ice T’s Something From Nothing: The Art of Rap documentary. The documentary is filled with clips from many of the top rappers in the game.
Recently, Ice T sat down with Sway Calloway for his “Sway in the Morning” on Shade 45. During his appearance on the show, Ice T spoke on his new documentary. Also, Ice T explained exactly what is an emcee and what is a rapper.
