J Prince creates Takeoff memorial site in Houston
On Friday, Takeoff’s funeral service was held, in his hometown of Atlanta. This took place inside of State Farm Arena, home to the NBA’s Atlanta Hawks. Quavo, Offset, Drake, Pierre “P” Thomas, Takeoff’s family members, and more, spoke. Justin Bieber and Chloe Bailey were several of the performers at this memorial, as well.
However, a memorial site has also been set up by J Prince and his family, for Takeoff. This is located outside of the 810 Billiards & Bowling bowling alley where the Migos rapper was shot and killed at, almost two weeks ago. At the time, Quavo had gotten into an argument with a group of men, as it escalated outside. As a result, 10 shots were fired, and Takeoff was hit in the torso and head, while in the crossfire.
In this memorial site, Prince’s name was placed to make it be known that he and his family set it up. This has since received some backlash online, as Prince had already previously been accused of having Takeoff in a dangerous position, even after asking rappers to “check in,” whenever they come to Houston.
