In the early hours of Sunday morning, popular Atlanta rapper Trouble, was shot and killed. At the time, Trouble was only 34-years-old. Around 3:20am, Trouble was found shot, at an apartment complex in Conyers, GA. Trouble went on to succumb to his injuries, at a local hospital.

Later that day, police filed a warrant for the arrest of 33-year-old Jamichael Jones. WSB-TV 2 later reported that Trouble was visiting a female in those apartments, which was the Lake St. James apartments. Jones reportedly did not know Trouble, but had a “domestic situation,” with the woman that Trouble was seeing. This was also part of a home invasion.

Jones hadn’t turned himself in for the past two days, but is now in custody, according to Fox 5 Atlanta. Jones has just been taken to jail, late Monday night, and heading into early Tuesday morning. This was confirmed by Rockdale County Sheriff’s deputies.

WSB-TV added that authorities visited the home of Jones’ mother. Jones called her, and said he wanted to turn himself in peacefully. Jones soon gave police a location, where they could all meet. Jones is now facing charges of aggravated assault, battery and home invasion.
