JID and Metro Boomin announce that joint album is coming

JID and Metro Boomin say that joint album is on the way

Metro Boomin has been one of the biggest producers in the industry, over the past decade. He’s worked with stars such as Future, Young Thug, 21 Savage, Travis Scott, Migos, and much more.

Metro is fresh off of the success of his sophomore album, “Heroes & Villains.” As a result, that went on to become his first number one album, as he collaborated with Chris Brown, Future, Young Thug, Travis Scott and even more, on this project.

However, Metro is cooking up even more heat, as he’s been in the studio with Dreamville artist, JID. Many assumed that they’ve been working on only one record together, but both went on to confirm on Twitter, that a joint album is on the way.

Last August, JID also released his third studio album, “The Forever Story.” That went on to see a number 12 debut in the US, on the Billboard 200 chart. He also worked with Lil Durk, Lil Wayne, Ari Lennox and more, on that project. JID has since been praised as one of the most underrated lyricists in hip-hop, as well as one of the top talents at Dreamville.
