On Saturday, news broke on social media, that “Creed 3” actor Jonathan Majors was arrested for allegedly assaulting his girlfriend. This included acts of strangulation, as well. Majors was arrested on Saturday morning, in the Chelsea area of Manhattan.

However, Majors’ attorney is now speaking out. This is Criminal defense attorney Priya Chaudry, as they claim that Majors’ GF is even recanting her story, according to TMZ. She cites written statements to prove the statements being recanted. Majors was initially charged with misdemeanor assault, aggravated harassment, attempted assault and harassment.

“Jonathan Majors is completely innocent and is probably the victim of an altercation with a woman he knows. We are quickly gathering and presenting evidence to the District Attorney with the expectation that all charges will be dropped imminently. We expect these charges to be dropped soon.
