Jonathan Majors’ attorney releases texts from alleged assault victim

Last weekend, “Creed III” actor Jonathan Majors landed in some major legal trouble. He was arrested after allegedly assaulting a woman that he was with in New York City, the night before. Majors was reportedly inside of a taxi cab with her, as she went on to become angry about a woman that was texting him.

As a result, Majors supposedly got into a physical altercation with her, with his hands ending up around her neck. When the situation deescalated, both are said to have went their separate ways. Majors was arrested in the Chelsea area of Manhattan, taken to jail, and charged with misdemeanor assault, aggravated harassment, attempted assault and harassment.

Meanwhile, Majors’ attorney, Priya Chaudhry went on to claim this week, that this woman is recanting her accusations against him. In addition to this, Chaudhry has released text messages to law enforcement hat were allegedly from the victim, according to TMZ. There, the woman explained how she doesn’t want Majors charged, and how he’s supposedly assured that that won’t happen. She added that the arrest had to happen, after they saw injuries on her.

Chadhry also initially claimed that there is footage of the initial incident, that will clear Majors of any wrongdoing. He has yet to publicly speak on this situation.
