Judge issues protective order, for witnesses in Young Thug’s YSL RICO case, after they allegedly received death threats

Protective ordered issued for witnesses in Young Thug’s RICO case
On Thursday, Gunna’s request for bond was denied, once again. This was even after he proposed being on house arrest, as well as having his phone calls monitored. It appears that he will remain in jail until at least his trial in January 2023. This is also the same situation for Young Thug, as both were part of a 56-count indictment, against their YSL crew, in May.
More information is also now surfacing, in Thug’s case. According to The Jasmine Brand, Judge Ural Glanville of Fulton County Superior Court has ordered a mandate, which requires defense attorneys to keep witnesses’ contact information concealed from their clients. This comes after witnesses in the YSL case have received threats, online.
These threats reportedly intended to injure the witnesses, as well as killing them. Brian Steel, Thug’s lawyer, denied that any of these threats were made, against the witnesses.
Thug was hit with charges of gang activity and violating the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations (RICO) Act. He faces 20 years in prison, if convicted of both. This comes after Thug had two number one albums, in 2021. One of them was a joint album with his YSL label/crew, “Slime Language 2.”
