Latto hasn’t heard from male rapper on album she subliminally called out

For the past week and a half, Latto has been trending due to a Big Boy interview she did. It was there that she revealed that a male rapper who is featured on her upcoming “777” album, tried to flirt with her and wanted sex, to give this collaboration. Latto added that she wasn’t feeling this situation, and almost scrapped the song. This album is led by singles such as “Big Energy” and “Wheelie,” featuring 21 Savage.

Latto went on to keep the record, as she made it known that she liked the song. The tracklist for the 777 album, which is due March 25, went on to be revealed this week. Among the male rappers featured are Kodak Black, Lil Wayne, Childish Gambino, and Lil Durk. Many fans assumed that it was Kodak, which he ended up denying.

In a new interview with The Breakfast Club today, Latto says that she hasn’t heard from this artist yet, and her intention wasn’t to make this topic bigger than what it is.

“My intention was not to make this a whole thing,” Latto explained. “I just was looking at it as, like, I’m a new female rapper in the game, I wish somebody could have given me some insight about how this stuff really goes. You hear female rappers have it harder but I really wanted to give a little insight as to what specifically makes it harder for female rappers. I didn’t want it to distract from the music or anything so I kind of wish, in a way, I didn’t say that.”
