Meek Mill is planning to release new music in August, along with 10 new mixtapes independently, starting in September

Meek Mill planning to release 10 new mixtapes independently
Meek Mill is beginning his journey as an independent artist again, after having massive success at Atlantic Records and Maybach Music, over the past 10 years. Meek also recently revealed that he’s splitting from Roc Nation as his management, but still has his artists on Roc Nation.
Meek’s last project came in October 2021, when he released his fifth studio album, “Expensive Pain.” That album was led by singles such as “Blue Notes 2” featuring Lil Uzi Vert and “Sharing Locations” featuring Lil Baby and Lil Durk. Expensive Pain went on to debut at number three on the Billboard 200 chart.
Now, Meek is finally releasing new music, in 2022. This will be his first post-Atlantic Records material, as he recently took to Twitter to announce that new music will be out on August 18, which is the day his father died. Meek also plans to put out 10 mixtapes, starting in September.
“10 tapes independently starting September … new music dropping AUGUST 18 the day my dad died is when I start wylinnnnnnn again! 😈 I’m not dropping albums on Friday either!”
As of now, the title or release date of the first mixtape that Meek plans to release has yet to publicly be revealed. It’s definite that Meek is sure to bring the heat as usual, though.
