Megan Thee Stallion’s “Hiss” sets US Spotify chart record

A week ago, Megan Thee Stallion had the internet buzzing, with her new ”Hiss” single. Moreover, that record saw Meg subliminally diss Drake and Nicki Minaj, due to mentioning her online and in songs in 2022.

As a result, Hiss has since become one of the hottest singles to kick off 2024, and is also expected to debut at number one on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, next week. This would mark her first ever number one solo single on the Hot 100.

Meanwhile, Megan’s Hiss single has been setting various streaming records over the last week, as well. According to Chart Data, Hiss has now earned the biggest weekly streaming debut for a solo female rap song in US Spotify chart history. This comes as a result of accumulating 10.28M streams.

Earlier this week, Megan Thee Stallion also went on to appear on “Good Morning America.” There, the Houston native revealed that an album is coming in the summer, as well as her first ever headlining tour. However, the official title and release date for the album hasn’t been unveiled yet. This will be her third studio album, and be her first since August 2022’s “Traumazine.”
