Courtesy of the battle rapping craze, Murda Mook had a big year in 2012 and it looks as if it will only get bigger in 2013. Showing the streets why he was such a big deal in the first place, Murda Mook is now set to prove he can transition. Battle rapping is a great way for rappers to become known, but there is much more to overall hip hop.
Murda Mook showed the world how wide his lyrical range was and more doors have opened for the battle legend. Another major comeback is in the works with Wyclef Jean, who is working on his new mixtape. April Showers is the name of the tape and the freestyle over Ace Hood’s “Bugatti” with Future and Rick Ross was well-received.
Wyclef Jean hopes to have a little something for everyone on his upcoming mixtape, including the Harlem grit. Last night, Murda Mook took to his Twitter to announce that he and Wyclef have some new music in the works. Murda Mook also uploaded a photo of the two in the studio to Instagram.
