Drake has had the music industry in a choke hold over the last week and a half, with his new sixth studio album, “Certified Lover Boy” album. It went on to debut at number one, on the Billboard 200 chart, as all of his studio albums have hit this mark.
Now, the Billboard Hot 100 rankings are in, snd Drake occupies the first five spots. According to Chart Data, he joins The Beatles, as the only artists to do this.
”Way 2 Sexy” ft. Future and Young Thug debuted at number one, which is viewed by many as the hottest song from CLB. The number two spot is held by “Girls Love Girls” ft. Lil Baby. The third spot goes to “Fair Trade” ft. Travis Scott.
Drake has nine songs in total from CLB, which debuted in the top 10. This is a new record, which passes his “Scorpion” album, along with “Thriller,” “Rhythm Nation 1814,” and “Born in the USA.” Those albums had seven songs each, in the top 10.
Drake has also tied Ariana Grande, for the most number one debuts, on the Hot 100. Each of them have five each.
