Last year, Nipsey Hussle built up a significant amount of buzz when he released his street album, Crenshaw, which was hosted by DJ Drama. The retail version of the album received acclaim for its business model. In the end, Nipsey Hussle made $10,000, including $1,000 from Jay-Z, who purchased 100 copies of the album.

Nipsey Hussle has remained relatively quiet over the past year, but he is not letting the year go by without releasing a project. With no prior warning, Nipsey Hussle has announced a new release today. The latest from Nipsey Hussle is Mailbox Money, which should be coming in the next couple of weeks.

Earlier this afternoon, Nipsey Hussle took to his Instagram and released the official cover for the project. Mailbox Money is the title of the album and it’s right around the corner. His release date set for the album is December 20, giving the audience roughly two weeks to get ready.
