For the past few days, Pitbull has been all over the news because of his guest appearance on “Empire.” The Lee Daniels-produced soap has had cameos from all kinds of stars. Tonight’s episode has Sway playing a very big supporting, guest celebrity cameo.
Pitbull comes from Miami and he brought their club scene to life via his music and his own version of hip hop. Emerging as one of the top artists of the decade, Pitbull made it onto “Empire.” Within the storyline, he, like everyone else, wants to cut a deal with Lucious (Terrence Howard).
The cameo on “Empire” came with a performance with Jamal (Jussie Smollett), before his scene with Lucious. They definitely brought energy with their performance and were met with positive reviews. Fans can be gracious when they want to be and they showed love on Twitter.
