Pooh Shiesty to pay $156,585 in restitution to shooting victims
Pooh Shiesty has been incarcerated since May of 2021, after a shooting in Miami occurred, at the King Of Diamonds strip club. Meanwhile, he was also arrested due to his involvement in an October 2020 shooting in Miami, involving a sneaker and drug deal gone wrong.
Last spring, Shietsy went on to receive five years and three months in prison, at his sentencing. Shiesty also recently posted updated jail photos, as he was also very confident in himself and his success, in his Instagram caption. Therefore, once released from prison, the 1017 rapper would also have to be under three years of supervised release, and be part of a treatment program for drugs and alcohol.
However, Shiesty is dealing with some more legal issues. According to TMZ, he has been ordered to pay $156,585 in restitution for victims from the October 2020 shooting, in Miami. As a result, two people ended up being injured.
Shiesty initially soared to stardom in early 2021, with his breakout “Back In Blood” single, featuring Lil Durk. That record peaked at number 13 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, and is 4x pltinum in the US. It appeared on Shiesty’s debut “Shiesty Season” mixtape, which debuted at number two in the US, on the Billboard 200 chart.
