Roddy Ricch released from custody, after being arrested on gun charges; before his Governors Ball performance

Roddy Ricch released from custody after arrest on gun charges

Yesterday, Roddy Ricch was supposed to perform at the Governors Ball festival, in Queens, NY. Unfortunately, Roddy was arrested before the show, at a security checkpoint.

Roddy and several members of his crew were arrested, on gun charges. These included 4 counts of criminal possession of a weapon, possession of a large capacity ammo feeding device and unlawful possession of that device. Roddy also had nine rounds of ammo, and a large capacity magazine.

According to TMZ though,  Roddy finally ended up being released from police custody, this afternoon. Roddy was also given back items that police held, such as his jewelry. How much bond that Roddy posted his still unclear. He’s expected to be arraigned on the charges, on Monday, though.

Plenty of artists dropped out of Governors Ball, this weekend. Migos were the first artists, as breakup rumors soon circulated. The group later said that Quavo had to shoot a movie. Lil Wayne soon replaced Migos, but he then faced a “flight disruption.”

Roddy released his sophomore album, “Live Life Fast,” in December. That ended up seeing a number four debut, in the US. Live Life Fast was led by Rodsy hit single, “Late At Night.”
