Roddy Ricch shows love to Gunna, after recently being denied bond, in YSL indictment

Roddy Ricch says he misses Gunna

Earlier this month, hip-hop was rocked, after the 56-count indictment of Young Thug, Gunna, and 26 other members of their YSL crew. Crimes allegedly committed were RICO, murder, gang activity, and more. Earlier this week, Gunna’s bond was denied by a judge, and won’t stand trial until January 2023. A judge’s decision on Thug’s bond was delayed, due to a conflict of interest, regarding his attorney. It’s unclear when Thug will officially go to trial, though.

Many rappers appear to believe that Thug and Gunna are innocent, including Roddy Ricch. Roddy has taken to his Instagram stories, to shout Gunna out, and to say that he needs to be freed. Gunna and Roddy collaborated before, on Roddy’s “Start Wit Me” and “Don’t I” songs. Roddy was also on Gunna’s “Too Easy” remix, this year.

“Free @gunna,” said Roddy. “We miss you out here champ. Mom’s praying 4 U.”

This month, Roddy also appeared on Post Malone’s new “Cooped Up” single. That will appear on Post’s new “Twelve Carat Toothache” album, on June 3. Roddy’s last album also came in December, with “Live Life Fast.” That went on to see a number four debut, in the US. That was led by Roddy’s 2021 hit single, “Late At Night.”
