Sheryl Lee Ralph to sign “Lift Every Voice And Sing” at Super Bowl

The Super Bowl is two and a half weeks away, as many fans are looking forward to Rihanna’s halftime performance. Rih initially confirmed this performance in the fall, as she uploaded a photo of her hand holding an NFL football. The big game will be held at State Farm Stadium, in Phoenix, AZ. The matchup will be decided this Sunday, after the Eagles vs 49ers and Chiefs vs Bengals conference championship games.

However, fans will be treated to a performance, before Rihanna hits the stage. Actress and singer Sheryl Lee Ralph will be singing “Lift Every Voice And Sing,” prior to kickoff of the game.

“Come on now. Don’t you ever give up on you baby!” said Ralph on her social media feeds. “I’ll be singing Lift Every Voice and Sing at Super Bowl LVII – See you there.”

Earlier this month, Ralph trended on social media. This was as a result of her motivational speech during the Critics Choice awards. She won the award for Best Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series for “Abbott Elementary.”
